EXPO 2020, which is currently taking place in Dubai, is the first World Exhibition organised in the Middle East. It was originally planned for 2020, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been postponed to the period starting from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. It is estimated that within half a year of its duration, 18 million visitors will come and see it. EXPO 2020 is organised on a grand scale. Visitors will be able to explore 192 pavilions where the most innovative solutions are presented, showcasing all global challenges in all key aspects of human activity. Sustainable development and mobility are of particular importance here; today they are at the center of attention in the modern world.
The Polish Pavilion – the main arena for presentations and information carriers – will be tempting with numerous attractions about Poland and the location of events promoting the country at EXPO. The slogan of the Polish Pavilion “Poland. Spirit of ingenuity” combines the theme of human potential and the topics recommended by the organizers: sustainable development and mobility. Poland is presented through the prism of creativity – a value that is a special feature of Poles and the basis for building successes in the field of economy, culture and science. The idea behind the Polish presentation is to emphasize the potential of people – creative, hardworking, educated, full of energy and intelligent- able to face all new challenges that may arise. In this context, the selection of the FIBARO product by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology is a great honor and recognition for innovation, modernity and originality of technical thought.
The exhibition presents the FIBARO wireless Flood Sensor, which is able to detect the smallest leakage in the installation at a very early stage and send a notification to the user’s smartphone. Connected to the solenoid valve, it can cut off the water supply, which effectively reduces the costs associated with flooding. The sensor has a water-drop shape inspired by nature. The minimalist design and small size allows it to fit into any interior. Its housing makes the Flood Sensor practically unsinkable – it floats on the surface of the water and continues to work. It is worth emphasizing that the Flood Sensor is the only product from the Smart Home sector presented at the Polish stand at EXPO.
“EXPO 2020 Dubai – is the first world exhibition of this type organized in the Middle East. It was all the more honor for us to choose the FIBARO brand as one of the representatives of Polish technological thought. We are glad that the world-class level of our devices was appreciated and that we were able to show one of our flagship products – the FIBARO Flood Sensor to such a wide audience. We hope that the exhibition will be an opportunity for us to expand business contacts and will result in even faster development of the company at the international level” says Adam Krużyński, CEO of FIBARO.
“The Universal Exhibition in Dubai is a special and unique opportunity to gather excellences from all over the world. We are very proud to be on show in the Polish Pavilion with FIBARO, our brand specialized in Smart Home solutions. Our product, the wireless Flood Sensor, is the only smart home device shown in the ‘science and technology innovation’ area. It has been acknowledged for its modernity and originality by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency along with the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology. Nice, as global leading company in the Smart Home, Security, Home & Building Automation markets, since 1993 strives to promote innovation, design, top quality and know-how in more than 100 countries, including the United Arab Emirates where our group branch is based in Dubai”, declares Lauro Buoro, Nice Chairman and Founder.
